The 2010 Census reported that the Vietnamese population was the 4th largest among Asian population groups in the United States. Between the years 2000 to 2010, the Vietnamese population has gained a numeric increase of 425,921, or 37.9% compared with the total population growth at 43.2% and the United States at 9.7%.
